SUMMER TERM ACTIVITIES
come and experience a
PIRATE SUMMER

19th July - 31st August 2014
Tudor
World will be having a Pirate Summer! Famous Elizabeth pirate Francis Drake was
rewarded by Elizabeth I for attacking Spanish ships filled with treasure – as well
our little pirates during the summer! Monday to Friday visitors can enjoy summer
shows in the outdoor Elizabethan theatre (included in the entry), where they
could be punished for their pirate-loving ways! Each young pirate will be given
a treasure map to find all the contraband afore the other pirates and will
receive some booty at the end. Visitors can also search for their quarry through
the museum, explore the exhibits; smelling some of those nasty aromas of
Elizabethan England; trying on hats or write a secret message using a quill as
well as find out what happened to Lucy, the little girl who worked in the
tavern along the way.
ALL INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY PRICE!
Also, look out for William Shakespeare who will be giving tours of his home town *every day at 2pm!
